This year marks 40 years of Care & Repair Edinburgh helping older and disabled people live safely and independently in their own homes. To celebrate this milestone, we’re asking for donations that link to the number 40 – a number that represents the years of impact we’ve had in our community.
A £4 donation would enable us to buy and fit a lightbulb to bring light to a dark room
A £40 donation would pay for a weekly Parking Permit for Andrew our Keysafe Fitter. Andrew normally fits 45 keysafes per week enabling elderly people to return home following a stay in hospital allowing a family member or carer easier access to their home
A donation of £140 could allow us to install an external hand rail so that an older person can safely get into their garden or up and down steps
A donation of £400 will enable us to provide Dementia Awareness and First Aid training to four of our wonderful volunteers
Your support means we can continue to be there for Edinburgh’s older community for the next 40 years. Can you help?
There are a number of ways you can give:
